Wanted: A Perfect Planner for 2012

I can already smell 2012 and thus, the hunt for the perfect planner has begun. n___n I want something spacious where I can really write my to-do list and add journal entries; and also I want something that looks fun.  So, I have been Google-ing and have found these:

Paulo Coelho’s Moments, 2012 Diary. The cover art is sooo pretty and I fell in love with it in an instant. I am a huge fan of Paulo Coleho and I would LOVE to have this diary. It is actually filled with inspirational quotes from his novels. I have been trying to have a peek inside this but I can’t seem to find anyone who has photos. :s

Filed 2012. It’s fun and spacious. It even comes with a free pen bandolier (helps holds your pens). And look, it has a cute daily mood indicator and a must see places, movies, restaurants and books for 2012 page. Adorbs!

The Handy Dandy 2012, Oh! Snap. I love the cover art, and it’s also very spacious. And this one’s very affordable. *huge smile*

Help me decide. Please?

YOU’RE HIRED!

Got the news last Sunday after having the worst week of my existence. :s 800 nurses submitted their resumes, 600 got called for the interview and 140 were chosen to make up the RN Heals (hospital based) program. Yes, one hundred forty out of eight hundred. o______o

Basically, RN Heals or Registered Nurses for Health Enhancement and Local Service is a joint program by the Department of Health, Department of Labor and Employment, and for this case, Zamboanga City Medical Center, to address the alarming rate of unemployed nurses in the country by hiring nurses thru proper screening and evaluation.

Just like the previous batch, we will be under a contract for a year, and may possibly be hired, In Shaa Allah, by the mentioned hospital based on one’s performance. Eeeek! I am excited and nervous all at once. Being a nurse is  quite a challenge, but  in my best Barney Stinson voice, I say, “Challenge accepted!

Right now, I’m very busy getting a second valid ID and completing the lab workups. Just getting all the requirements done ASAP. Well, it is gonna be a looooooooooong, tiiiiiiiiiiiiiring day tomorrow.. But this time I know it’s sooo worth it!

“Forever is only the beginning..”

Who’s excited for Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part 1? I know I am! *huge smile* I have read the series and to be honest, I prefer the books over the movies but Breaking Dawn is my favorite among the 4 books, so I’ll try not to compare. *winks*

My cousin and I will make sure we get in the first screening on Friday. IT. IS. A. MUST.

And for my fellow Twi-hards, here’s the official trailer of Breaking Dawn, enjoy!

Epic. Awesome. Random.

Assalamualaykum!

I knew today was gonna be a loooong day but I didn’t think it was gonna be one of those epic/awesome/random days of my life. XD

  • First day of MAN class at Ateneo de Zamboanga University
I came in 30 minutes late (not the best way to meet your professor) because I passed by Zamboanga City Medical Center to get my number for the job interview later that afternnon. Good thing, our professor wasn’t there yet. *awesome* Then tadaaaa, high school crush was sitting there playing with his tablet. o_____o We can’t be groupmates, I whispered. As in hindi pwede. :s After all those years, I still get nervous and shy around him. *ughhh* Then Psych prof came in and discussed how things are gonna be this semester, asked us to form groups of 4, and.. laaaa, WE ARE NOT GROUPMATES. Epic! Dismissed an hour early, and decided to change my 4-7pm MAJOR subject and get Advanced Technical Writing instead. Met up with my cousin, and had lunch.

  • Job Interview
3rd to be interviewed. Palms were sweaty. Shortness of breath. Tachycardia. Number 3 was asked to come in…. InshaAllah.

  • Hijabi ♥
Since re-discovering my faith, and finding Allah swt in my heart, I have wanted to cover up. I actually bought my first hijab yesterday, and tried it on. Being able to wear the hijab because I know I had to in the name of Allah swt, I felt free, to be honest.. I told grandmom, granddad and aunts, and they were like, “Din, sure ka?,” and I was like, “DEFINITELY.”

Alhamdulillah, I am a hijabi.  ♥  May Allah swt continuously guide us towards the straight path.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, readers! *smile*
